So I've been back from Maine for a few weeks now and I think it's time I show some pictures from my vacation there. My parents and I stayed in Auburn, the twin city of Lewiston. Auburn and Lewiston are very industrial; factories are still standing and it's kind of run down, not a pretty town. I'm sure it was much better back when my great grandfather was born. They definitely need to spruce it up. Anyway, here are some photos of Camden, Casco Bay, the hot air balloon, and much more. Oh, and did I mention I took a hot air balloon ride on my birthday, July 2nd?

I'm actually in that hot air balloon.
Casco Bay; A shipwreck occurred here in the 1800's.

The view from my hotel window in Auburn, ME. Auburn and Lewiston are the twin cities and Lewiston is where my great grandfather was born and baptized. His brother was also baptized here.
I have to say Maine wasn't my favorite vacation or state. There wasn't a lot to do; we went to Portland twice and Freeport about three times, because there wasn't much to do, and as you know, we also went to Camden for a day. Maine was BORING! No offense to anyone who lives there. It's just not my cup of tea. I'm used to having something to do 24/7. I mean, after all, I do live in the city that never sleeps. Will I go back? Probably not.
I'll be posting more pictures later this week.
Have a lovely evening!
