Today Is A Good Day...And A Hectic One

Portland, ME

Today, I'm packing for Maine! I leave for vacation tomorrow and I return to NYC on July 6th (so expect there to be no posts for the week). My parents and I are going up there for our summer vacation this year, as well as my 21st birthday (July 2nd). We're staying in Auburn, visiting Portland for a day or two, and a few other cities/towns. And guess what we're doing on my birthday?! Hot air ballooning! I know, I'm crazy! But I wanted to do it and we're doing it. I'm a little apprehensive about it. I mean we are going to be up 3,000 feet in the air, but it's only a 45 minute to 1 hour ride. It's at night time too. Apparently the whole thing takes 3 hours.

Anyway, it amazes me how I find time to blog on such a hectic day. I have to finish my craft work (my travel art journal), finish packing, write some letters, get some addresses together (to send postcards out), go on a scavenger hunt around my house to make sure I didn't forget ANYTHING, put new music on my Ipod, update my Ipod, etc. *sigh* I'm tired just thinking about it and writing it out. But it has to be done by tonight because my dad wants to leave at 9 am and it takes 6-8 hours to get there with traffic and all.

Also, since I won't be home for my birthday, my parents are celebrating my birthday a little bit earlier. So tonight, on top of everything else, I'll  be opening presents and eating cake. Oh, and having a BBQ as well.

Anyway, that's all for today and this week. I'll be back with updates on July 7th.

Have a lovely day and week!

What I'm Loving At The Moment

1. Homemade Popsicles!

I want to make my own popsicles this summer. There are so many different varieties and I want to try them all. Popsicles are the ultimate summer treat.

2. Homemade Lemonade/Limeade.

I definitely want to make my own lemonade and limeade this summer, especially toasted coconut vanilla limeade in the picture above. It looks delicious and it's very summery, which I love. I love coconut and when you put that together with lime and vanilla....*sigh* I'm in heaven already. I also like lemon and lime together. I love the flavors and the tartness, it's my favorite summer treat.

3. Card Making

I just got into card making earlier this month and I love it.

4. Pinwheels

I've had pinwheels on my mind for a few weeks now. After finding a tutorial on how to make felt pinwheels, trying it myself, and then actually succeeding in making them, I can't get enough!

5. TOMS

Finally bought myself a pair two weekends ago and I love them. I wear them everywhere and I'm wearing them more then sandals. I want every single design and color that they have! I actually bought an olive green pair. I thought I would hate the color, but it's growing on me.

6. Coconut Soap

My dad found this soap for me in a drug store one day back in April/May. I didn't know it existed until he called asking me if I wanted it. He bought 3 boxes and it lasts pretty long. He knows I like coconut, so I'm glad he was thinking of me when he saw it. Anyway, the Eco store makes the most wonderful coconut soap. It doesn't bother my skin unlike other soaps. Other soaps were ok, but after awhile they bothered my skin. If I just touched my skin, I felt the need to scratch. Even when I didn't touch it, I felt the need to scratch. After using this soap though, I haven't felt the constant need to scratch. I have very sensitive skin, so it's perfect. It also has coconut strands in it, so it gently exfoliates and replenishes the skin. It's a 2 in 1 type of soap, which I love. There's no need for me to use St. Ives Exfoliation products anymore and use regular soap on top of that. It takes out an entire step! Oh, and did I mention it has a lovely fragrance and it's really cheap? It's a $1.80 on their website!

The Eco store also has household items, other bath & body items, items for your pets and baby, and items for your hair. I'll be doing a product review on this soap next Monday, so keep an eye out for that.

I'm going to stop rambling about how fabulous their soap is.

Have a lovely evening!

From Blog Life To Real Life

Britt from The Magnolia Pair and Jessica from Lovely Little Things are hosting their first link up, From Blog Life To Real Life!

Do you have any real life blog friends?
Unfortunately, no I don't. Maybe one day.

Which blogger are you just dying to meet?
I would love to meet everybody, but I'd love to meet Mandy from Miss Indie. I love her blog! Oh, and Janette from Janette The Jongleur. I also love her blog!

Which blogger's closet do you want to raid?
Hmmm....that's a tough one. I'm going to have to pass on this one.

You are stuck on an island. Which blogger would you want with you to help you survive?
Probably, Elsie from A Beautiful Mess. She's really good at DIY-ing.

The first blogger you remember "meeting" and connecting with?
I'm still kind of new to this whole blogging thing, so I really haven't "met" or connected with many bloggers. But the first person I remember kind of connecting with is Janette from Janette The Jongleur.

Any blogger that you admire and look up to?
There's probably a whole list of bloggers that I admire, but to name a few, Elise from A Beautiful Mess, Mandy from Miss Indie, Kaelah from Little Chief Honeybee, Jordan from Oh Happy Day, and Elycia from Love Elycia

Who is the craziest/funniest blogger?
Again, I'm going to have to pass on this one.

There's a reality television show for bloggers, who would you want to be casted with you?
That's a tough one.

Some bloggers have really cool jobs, anybody you'd like to swap careers with?
No, not really, since I'm still in college and I don't have a full time job. But then again, I love interior design and I always wanted to be one, so I'd swap with Holly Becker of Decor8

Favorite blog design?
My favorite design would have to be Mandy's from Miss Indie. I like a lot of designs, but her's is definitely by favorite.

I'll be back with another post later today.

Have a lovely day!

Sunday Social Link Up

Today I'm linking up to A Complete Waste of Makeup's Sunday Social Link Up, as well as answering this weeks set of questions.

How did you come up with your blog name?

Chase All Your Dreams is a line from a song, Let It Ride by Automatic Loveletter. The line is "chase all your dreams and don't let them go". It's something I strongly believe in.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

Everything! I love thinking about what I want to write about, writing the actual post, stating my thoughts, the weekly theme posts, "meeting" different bloggers, etc.

What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now cant live without?

There's really nothing new. I had twitter before this blog, I had Facebook already, I had Tumblr already, etc. Nothing is new to me anymore. Name something and I probably have it (or heard of it).

Facebook or Twitter? and why?

Twitter, definitely! Facebook isn't not my favorite site anymore. I still have one, but it's getting old and lame and it sucks. Need I say more?

If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be?

Oooo, that's tough. My favorite actor is Johnny Depp, but I wouldn't choose him. So I really don't know.

What is something you want people to know about your blog?

My blog is where I'm able to post my thoughts, the things I like, etc. It's basically me in a nutshell! Oh, and it's also where I believe in dreams/dreaming. "Your dreams must be bigger than your fears" - Christian Climer - That's the motto of my blog!

Have a lovely evening!
